Find bargains and Donate your Treasures at our Second Chance Resale Shops while helping the animals, too!
For over 20 years South Suburban Humane Society has operated TWO resale shops - the first of its kind anywhere!
Second Chance I in Steger, IL and Second Chance II in Chicago Heights, IL supply about 15% of the shelter's annual income. This additional funding goes directly to the animals cared for at the humane society. We provide shelter, medical care, and loving attention to accomplish this over 30 years with continual help from people like you. Remember, your donations are tax deductible!
Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We accept items in good condition such as: Clothing, Furniture, Toys, Seasonal Decor, Jewelry and Household Accessories.
