The South Suburban Humane Society is offering a unique opportunity for a special individual interested in promoting animal welfare by combating the pet overpopulation crisis. We are seeking a part-time (20-25 hours per week with a possibility for full-time) CERTIFIED Veterinary Technician at our high-volume, high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter clinic located in Glenwood, Illinois.
Successful candidate must have three years experience in a veterinary clinic, with a preference for candidates who have experience in a high-volume spay/neuter clinic. We have quality medical protocol. Candidate must have great interpersonal skills and be a team player.
Monday – Friday operation and one Saturday per month. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.

Successful candidate must have current Illinois DVM license and insurance. Experience with high-volume spay/neuter preferred but not required. Must be proficient with S/N surgeries; we perform a minimum of 30 surgeries per day. We have quality medical protocol. Candidate must have great interpersonal skills and be a team player.
