Humane Society Naming Opportunities

As the South Suburban Humane Society grows and expands, the organization needs additional funds to upgrade and maintain our facilities. For the first time, the organization is offering naming opportunities. The shelter map demonstrates the areas available for naming and the related cost. A beautiful, permanent indication of your sponsorship will be placed in the room.

Spay Neuter Clinic Naming Opportunities

We are proud to announce the opening of South Suburban Humane Society’s Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic. Our goal is to offer the community a low cost spay neuter option in an attempt to end shelter euthanasias through a proactive approach of spaying and neutering over 8,000 animals each year.

Abuse Program Sponsorship

It's midnight and the caller is frantic. The next door neighbor is beating his dog. Without hesitation, the South Suburban Humane Society Abuse Investigation Team rouses and gets to the house. In the middle of the night, in the midst of the heat, or in the freezing cold, the Humane Society is there for the animals and for the people of the Southland area.

We're proud to introduce a new way that you can join with us in the fight against animal cruelty and neglect. You are invited to become a sponsor of the Abuse Investigation Department. Your sponsorship dollars will allow the team to purchase much needed new equipment, maintain the vehicles, and mitigate the high cost of gas. Your sponsorship dollars will also support the care of the animals rescued by the team. Below, you will find the benefits offered at each level of sponsorship.

Platinum Sponsorship--$1,000
You will receive invitations to twice yearly seminars on topics of interest in the animal welfare field, a lapel pin to proudly display your support and a photo of a shelter pet, bi-weekly e-blasts about the recent work of the Abuse Investigation Team, and identification as a Platinum Sponsor in the SSHS newsletter and on the website.

Gold Sponsorship--$500
You will receive invitations to twice yearly seminars on topics of interest in the animal welfare field, bi-weekly e-blasts about the recent work of the Abuse Investigation Team, and identification as a Gold Sponsor in the SSHS newsletter and on the website.

Silver Sponsorship--$250
You will receive bi-weekly e-blasts about the recent work of the Abuse Investigation Team and identification as a Silver Sponsor in the SSHS newsletter and on the website.

Give A Dog A Kong

 

The Kong company has a wonderful program called "Seconds to Shelters" where animal shelters can purchase "not-quite-perfect" Kong toys for a fraction of their retail cost. The smallest Kongs are $1.10 and the largest are $3.20. Since we see an average of 60 dogs per week, this cost could really add up.
